ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility statement.

MayaUPS treats accessibility as part of the product conformity story, not as a separate marketing claim. The site and product copy are written for buyers who need practical evidence for public-sector or Quebec review, not vague assurances.

Target standard

Product conformity material references WCAG 2.1 AA and SGQRI 008. These references connect the public website, the in-app conformance pages, and Quebec public-sector accessibility expectations.

Site implementation

The website uses semantic landmarks, visible focus states, keyboard-operable navigation and forms, contrast-conscious tokens, and reduced-motion handling. The pages also avoid hiding key information in images, which matters for technical content such as SNMP support, RFC-1628 decoding, battery forecasting, and shutdown safety states.

Language access

The site ships with EN-CA at the root and standardized FR-CA under /fr/. French copy uses Quebec terminology, formal address, and product-specific vocabulary such as onduleur, courriel, téléchargement, confidentialité, and renseignements rather than casual translated marketing language.

Evidence to keep current

Accessibility evidence should stay connected to the real interface as MayaUPS evolves. If product screenshots, form behaviour, or navigation patterns change before launch, this statement should be reviewed with the same care as the security and privacy pages.

Feedback

[[TODO: publish an accessibility feedback address]] Before launch, this route must name the contact method for accessibility issues and the expected response process.
