What it runs on

A Windows or Linux server, physical or virtual, that can reach your UPS network cards and the servers to protect.

  • Windows Server or a current Linux distribution, x86-64 or ARM64
  • A browser for the console
  • Network access to the UPS cards over SNMP

Everything a site needs is in one installation.

  • The MayaUPS service and its web console, in English and French
  • The Windows and Linux agents for shutdown and USB or serial UPS
  • Manufacturer profiles for UPS, PDUs, transfer switches and sensors

How a deployment works

A deployment starts with the sites, equipment and servers to protect. MayaUPS is installed on your server, the fleet is added by network discovery or CSV import, and alarms and shutdown events are set up. Every shutdown event runs a shutdown test before it is enabled.

Each site runs its own MayaUPS. MayaUPS Cloud brings every site into one remote view when you want it.

How long does a first site take?

Most of the work is gathering the equipment list and the servers to protect. Once that is ready, MayaUPS finds the network cards, reads the fleet and is ready for alarms and shutdown events.
