SOLUTIONS

Multi-site UPS fleets.

Each site protects itself on its own network. MayaUPS Cloud brings every site into one view.

Every site protects itself

Each site runs its own MayaUPS on a Windows or Linux server, close to its UPS and servers. Monitoring, alarms and shutdown carry on at the site whatever happens to the wide-area network, so a branch that loses its link to head office still shuts down in order.

All sites in one view

MayaUPS Cloud shows every site and its equipment in one portal: current condition, 30 days of history, battery health and published service reports. A change of condition reaches the portal within about a minute. The portal is hosted in Beauharnois, Quebec, with two-step sign-in for every contact.

Alarms routed by site

Each site sends its alarms to its own team by e-mail, Microsoft Teams or SMS, with on-call schedules and escalation to a central group when an alarm stays open. A daily summary reports what happened overnight across the site.

Rolled into your tools

PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Nagios, Prometheus and Grafana receive UPS status from every site; Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel receive its events; ServiceNow opens an incident for each alarm.

The same setup everywhere

Every site uses the same manufacturer profiles, alarm rules and shutdown events, in English or French. Equipment is added by network discovery or CSV import, so a new site is ready the day its server is installed.

Roles for every team

Viewer, operator and administrator roles separate who watches, who responds and who configures at each site. LDAP and Active Directory groups map to those roles, and every change is recorded in the audit history.

Batteries across the estate

Battery replacement forecasts, warranties and preventive maintenance roll up into one multi-year budget by site and by year.

Frequently asked questions

Does each site need its own MayaUPS?

Yes. Each site runs MayaUPS on its own network, so it keeps monitoring and shutting down whatever happens to the wide-area network. MayaUPS Cloud brings the sites together.

Can head office see every site at once?

Yes. MayaUPS Cloud shows every site, its equipment, history, battery health and service reports in one portal.

Does a site need an Internet connection?

No. Each site monitors and shuts down on its own network. An Internet connection adds the MayaUPS Cloud view and the alarm e-mail relay.
