ABOUT

About MayaUPS.

MayaUPS is a standalone product for IT, facilities, and operations teams that run mixed UPS fleets and need a usable bilingual monitoring tool. It is built around a specific operational problem: power-protection hardware is often multi-brand, locally managed, and too important to leave inside disconnected vendor utilities.

What it is

MayaUPS is free, bilingual EN-CA / FR-CA, multi-vendor UPS monitoring software for Windows and Linux. It monitors UPS hardware, PDU, ATS, and environmental sensors over SNMP v1/v2c/v3, and can collect directly attached UPS readings through a USB-HID or serial agent.

Who it is for

It is built for IT, facilities, operations, public-sector, and Quebec teams that care about local data residency, accessibility, security conformity, and battery replacement timing. The current interface covers fleet health, energy, alarms, devices, agents, planning, maintenance windows, calendars, service reports, budgets, shutdown, users, settings, and audit history.

How it stays focused

MayaUPS runs on-premises on the LAN. It is not a hosted service and does not require a VM appliance. The web UI and SQLite database are embedded in one self-contained application, which keeps the deployment story light for small sites, branch locations, and edge environments.

What remains deliberately bounded

MayaUPS does not claim a hosted edition, universal support for every model, customer or uptime statistics, or completed live Linux host-shutdown proof. Vendor profiles remain bench-unverified until a real device walk confirms them; RFC-1628 is the verified standards baseline.
